| Stage rally 142: the diet progresses... |
A few weeks ago we got our Competition Car Log Book at SCCoN's Malcolm Watson stages (Sculthorpe).
I'd weighed the 142 on the previous day with negligible fuel:
- Start Weight: 1140 kg
- Weight today: 1110 kg, comprised of...
- Side glass & mechanisms, plus door trims removed.
- 5mm polycarbonate side "glass" fitted
- Bumpers deleted
- Rear silencer deleted
- Boot, hinges and rear valence lightened
- Technically I'm permitted to hit 800kg - fat chance in honesty, unless I spend lots of money with Nick Paravani (Competition Fabrications) for a heap of alloy panels to be fabricated...
Now I'm off to Canada Garage, and we shall see what noise level we are now generating, and hopefully we shall still be within FIA levels.
