| Genuine Volvo oil filters: 8% price drop since 1999! |
I was going through the paperwork for my 142 yesterday afternoon: very full handwritten notes since 1984.
But one invoice in particular fell into my lap:
14th April 1999
3517857 Oil Filter x1 £6.95+vat
Now, besides being pleased to see that the genuine Volvo filter was fitted (they have a non-return valve to keep the oil at the top of the engine to reduce wear at start up), our price today is 55p less than theirs 9 years ago...
