| LPG conversion working... |
So, our 145 now runs on LPG...
- Last night I set the software, and hit the LPG button with rapt anticipation, feeling as you do before lighting the first firework...
- The engine stalled instantly...
- So, thought I: "I must go into the kitchen and read the manual again"
- I drove into the village this morning to fetch milk, and suddenly realised I was running on LPG!!!!!
- Ultra lean on lower vacuums (gently acceleration)
- A touch rich on high vacuum (feathered throttle)
- I've now discovered that the wrong MAP (manifold air pressure sensor) was selected, so the ECU had no idea what vacuum I had.
- Now I shall try out the Self-Calibration menu, after reading the manual I grudgingly suppose!
Funnily enough I now have the urge to drive up to Yorkshire, just to try out half price fuel...
